Mossley joint bosses Peter Band and Lloyd Morrison have made five last minute additions to the squad just prior to the 2017 signing deadline.

Elliot Harrison (age 20) is a young central midfield player signed on loan from FC Halifax Town just before the 2017 transfer deadline until the end of the season. He has previous loan experience with Hyde United and Ossett Albion. Elliot went straight into the squad for the first post dedaline game at Clitheroe.

Danny Bell (age 26) is a natural left winger with plenty of pace and skill who has signed from local amateur team Diggle FC. He began his playing career as a youth with Oldham Athletic and Blackpool before playing non league for Morecambe, Salford City and Clitheroe.

Rob Flynn (age 25) is a versatile right sided player has also signed from Diggle FC. Rob has previous senior experience with Chadderton, Droylsden, Padiham, Curzon Ashton and New Mills.

A third player to sign from Diggle FC is Danny McLaughlin (age 23). Danny is a locally based striker who has a fantastic goal scoring record in amateur and Sunday League football. He has signed after scoring 22 goals in just 17 apperaances for the Huddersfield League side.

Oladimeji 'Ladi' Odesanya (age 21) is a confident young central defender signed from North West Counties League side Widnes. He was previously with Stalybridge Cetic and Chadderton.
